1) Complicated winter finishing
In November, Fermanagh farmer John Egerton had to tweak his winter finishing plan for young bulls.
2) Spring barley harvest
In September, Co Down farmer Derek Robinson was “blown away” with his spring barley harvest.
3) Trees in wet ground
In May, Derek availed of a woodland grant scheme to plant trees in a wet corner.
4) Calving in Fermanagh
In spring, John Egerton gave us an update from the busy calving period.
5) Breeding sheep
Derek Robinson put his hand in his wallet in August and bought replacement hoggets.
