We’ve compiled a list of all of our show day essentials that we think might help you get show ready.

White coat.Clean white, red or leather halters.Snaffle.Curry comb.Slicker brush/pin comb.Soap/glycerine bar.Show stick.Blow dryer.Generator (don’t forget the petrol!).Make sure your animal is used to:
Being haltered.Wearing a snaffle.Travelling in a trailer.Loud/ strange noises (leave a radio on in the shed).Being washed with a power washer or pressure hose.Being dried with a blow dryer.Being combed.Being scratched or settled with a show stick.Having their legs fixed with a show stick.There are a number of grooming essentials you should have to be show ready.
Show day
Give yourself plenty of time. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.Don’t forget your essentials.Take note of your class numbers.Make sure your animal is washed properly.Turn yourself and your animal out to the best of your ability.The judge’s decision is final – remember that.Shake hands and smile. You never know when it’ll be you at the top or the end of the line.
