There are also bulls from outcross AI sires, such as Texas Iceman, Drumcrow Savoy, Carrington Park Time On B7, Deelish Shotgun and Carton Roe David.

Standout calves

A couple of the standout calves include, Liss Megastar B417 and Liss Eagle B470. Megastar was junior male champion at the Irish Aberdeen Angus calf show in 2025 and is described by the McEnroe’s as a “truly special bull and one of the best we have ever bred”.

Liss Eagle B470 was another multiple prize winner on the show circuit in 2025, claiming red ribbons at the Irish Aberdeen Angus calf show and the Irish Aberdeen Angus All-Ireland finals.

All bulls are vaccinated for IBR and Lepto, fertility tested, genotyped and weight recorded through the ICBF whole herd performance-recording programme.

Incentive

The McEnroe’s are offering customers the opportunity to pay a €1,000 deposit at the time of purchase and they will continue to manage the bull on-farm until it is required, up until 1 May 2026, with the remaining balance due in full before the bull leaves the farm.

Commenting on the sale, John McEnroe, said: “We are delighted to launch our first online bull sale. We always considered having our own annual bull sale, but when we realised the quality of this year’s bulls, we knew 2026 was the year. Any bull sold to an area where bluetongue may interfere with travel plans can be held on farm until the border opens.”

Viewing

All bulls can be viewed on farm at A82HV20 on Saturday 21 March and Sunday 22 March, from noon until 3pm each day. Alternatively, viewing can be arranged on Sunday 15 March by appointment.

Hosted by Ballyjamesduff Mart, the sale will take place online via the MartEye platform. Details and pictures of all lots are available on MartEye and Lissangus.com. For further information contact John McEnroe on 086-610-8249.
