After nearly a decade heading up the National Beef Association (NBA) in NI, Kilkeel man Oisin Murnion is to stand down at the next annual general meeting (AGM) of the association on Monday 10 April, at AFBI Hillsborough, starting at 7pm. Murnion was re-elected as NI regional chair at the last AGM in 2014, with Fermanagh farmer John Sheridan elected as vice-chair.
At the AGM on 10 April, nominations will be invited for the position of chair, vice-chair and council secretary. Following the AGM, there is an open meeting for all beef producers starting at 8pm, with speakers to include Dr Francis Lively from AFBI.
