Met Éireann has issued a nationwide yellow warning for snow and ice.
The warning will come into effect from 6am on Tuesday 25 February and will remain in place until 9am the following day.
Met Éireann has warned that wintry showers, mainly of hail and sleet, will become increasingly widespread on Tuesday, resulting in ice patches. Some snow accumulations are expected also.
