Dr Pat Mulvehill has been appointed as interim CEO and breed secretary of the Irish Limousin Cattle Society (ILCS). I see he had his first day out as ILCS boss at its 50th anniversary event in Carrick-on-Shannon at the weekend.
The former CEO of Munster Bovine is said to have had a pivotal role in developing that business since its formation in 2007.
No doubt the Limousins are in capable hands.
