"When visiting my home country of Germany, I always marvel at the number of Kerrygold products on offer there and not here." - Heike O’Sullivan, Bonane, Kenmare, Co Kerry.
'Perhaps Ornua should be called upon to consider rolling their very tasty products out in more countries instead of thinking up new products altogether.'

DEAR EDITOR
I was surprised to see Dairygold chair Pat Clancy being quoted in last week’s issue of the Irish Farmers Journal as having said: “[Ornua] haven’t really leveraged their Kerrygold brand into cheese or other products.”
When visiting my home country of Germany, I always marvel at the number of Kerrygold products on offer there and not here. A quick look at their German website shows four different types of butter, two types of flavoured butter, two types of butter/oil blends, seven different types of sliced cheese, four different types of grated cheese and five different types of cream cheeses.

Granted, for some reason that range of products is not available in neighbouring Belgium, the Netherlands or France, so, perhaps Ornua should be called upon to consider rolling their very tasty products out in more countries instead of thinking up new products altogether.
Whilst they’re at it, why not also introduce their extensive cheese range in this, Kerrygold’s home country? Just saying.
