I’m writing to express my frustration at the slowness of the issuing of my calf cards.
I entered the genotyping programme around 18 months ago and have since noticed the snail’s pace at which the calf cards are issued.

If I knew at the time that this was a possibility, I certainly would not have entered the programme. A farmer has only 42 days to move calves on without a herd test and this is eating into the time.
It is highly frustrating at a time of year when farmers are under enough pressure.
