There is an opportunity for someone interested in contract rearing 30 yearling heifers for the grazing season from April to October/November.

A Co Galway farmer is looking for a contract rearer for groups of 10 calves up to 50. The calves are six weeks old.

Dairy farm assistant, Cork

A dairy farm near Ballincollig, Co Cork, is looking for a full-time employee on its 250-cow farm.

Work is rostered on the family-run farm and the employee is needed for four to five months, starting immediately.

Branch assistants, Tírlán

Tírlán is recruiting a number of full-time roles in branches located in Fethard, Castlecomer and Bennetsbridge.

People with an agricultural background and a forklift licence are desirable.

The candidates must be outgoing, have excellent communication and teamwork skills and have the ability to multitask and deliver a high standard quality of work in a busy environment.

Roles of these positions include top class customer service, ensuring the store and work environment are clean at all times, displaying a keen interest in and understanding product range and services.
