Dairymaster won the ‘Overall Product Innovation Award’ at this week's Farm Business Cream Awards in the UK, for the second year in a row, for its Swiftflo Commander system.

Speaking following the win, Ted McGrath, Dairymaster sales manager for the UK, said the Kerry-based company is gaining great sales and traction in the UK market. “We are overjoyed to win an innovation award for the Swiftflo Commander. We already have a huge number of farms experiencing the benefits of this product across the UK.”

The Swiftflo Commander provides the farmer with all the necessary information of a cow’s milk production, including milk yield, milking time and somatic cell count, as well as controlling feed quantities.

The system won the overall Innovation Arena award at last year's National Ploughing Championship, where Dairymaster software engineer Michael Ryan demonstrated its functions in the video below:
