There has been a massive increase in US butter exports to Europe in 2025, with 8,366 tonnes exported to the end of July compared with just 32 tonnes in same period last year.
Brazil – price increase
Brazilian beef exported in September was worth $5,617 per tonne which is just under 25% more than the same month last year.
Australia – sheep flock
Meat and Livestock Australia are forecasting that the national sheep flock this year will be 74.165m head, down from the record 79.1m in 2024.
