Pat has worked with the Farmers Journal for over 17 years. A combination of intellectual capacity and personal integrity allowed him to quickly gain the respect and trust of those in the agricultural sector both nationally and internationally.
For the past 10 years, Pat has held the role as News Editor and the combined role of News Editor and Deputy Editor for the last six years. During this period, along with setting the weekly news agenda, he has been instrumental in the continuous development of the paper always with a focus on ensuring the Irish Farmers Journal delivered on its mission of improving the competitiveness of Irish farming.
More recently, Pat has been to forefront in the development of our digital strategy and in overseeing our very successful internship programme. We wish Pat all the very best in his new role and thank him sincerely for his commitment over the years.
