Shoppers in Lidl, Portursh, Co Antrim, were greeted by a sheep on a leash in the store over the weekend.
The photos were posted by Belfast Books Limited on Facebook – a strange sight, if I say so myself.
Commenting on the post, the person manning the page said: "Witnessed by my own eyes at Lidl, Glenmanus Rd, Portrush.
"The guy's reasoning was that the sign on the door only said 'no dogs', not 'no sheep'."
Technically he was right, I suppose, but I’m not sure if many would chance doing the same thing with their own sheep.
