Those wishing to take part in sheepdog training will have the opportunity next month, with three one-day training courses on offer from the National Sheep Association (NSA) in Scotland and the International Sheep Dog Society (ISDS).

The events will be able to provide tuition for up to 12 handlers and their dogs each day.

The courses will run on Monday, 4 June, in Roxburghshire and on Wednesday, 13 June, in Perthshire and Ayrshire.

The training is free to attend for NSA and ISDA members and non-members can pay £30 (£15 for under 27s) to take part.

Places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and the closing date is Friday, 1 June.
