A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Waterford and east Cork. Outbreaks of rain in the area is to lead to spot flooding, Met Éireann has said.
The highest accumulations are expected to fall on mountainous areas. The warning is in place until 6pm on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, a status yellow wind warning is still in place for counties Wexford, Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
Southeasterly winds are forecast to reach mean speeds between 50 and 65km/h at times, with gusts between 90 and 100 km/h. Winds will be strongest along coastal areas.
The wind warning is in place until 2pm on Thursday.
