Farmers are on hand to provide a listening ear to other farmers experiencing issues with topics ranging from marriage breakup to succession through Life Focus.
This week, Noel Bardon is joined by Shane Dolphin, who discusses the red tape facing young farmers and the key areas he is investing in to get a leased farm up and going.
The mission, proposed by MEPs Barry Cowen and Ciaran Mullooly, follows a similar proposal made by MEP Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan and was adopted by AGRI political co-ordinators at its last meeting.
The information evening is being chaired by IFA deputy president Alice Doyle and includes specialist speakers on inheritance, succession, family health and wellbeing.
The conference will cover topics such as land mobility models and structures, succession and inheritance, taxation, the Fair Deal scheme, options for farm transfer and maximising payments.
