Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon announced the Early-Stage Support for Producer Organisations (ESSPO) scheme on Wednesday 16 April, which is a multi-annual measure under the CAP Strategic Plan.
Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon and Minister of State Noel Grealish made the announcement on Wednesday 16 April for the call with a budget of €30m.
The programme is delivered by the UCD school of bio-systems and food engineering, in partnership with Teagasc, at the AgTechUCD Innovation Centre at UCD Lyons Farm in Co Kildare.
In collaboration with Bord Bia and Enterprise Ireland, the final leg of the visit will be in Chicago before the trade mission concludes on Saturday 12 April.
