Dutch feed equipment manufacturer Trioliet has just unveiled a new self-propelled diet feeder. Known as the Triotrac M1-1400, the new single vertical auger machine has a 14m3 capacity.

Trioliet has just unveiled a new self-propelled diet feeder, the Triotrac M1-1400.

This self-propelled machine features a cutting-loading system with a hydraulically powered loading rotor to load the feed into the mixing tub. Trioliet say the loading system is designed so that the feed is processed cleanly, without losing any during the loading process. The firm claims the Triotrac M can extract silage at heights of up to 4.5m (14.8ft).

Being the smallest self-propelled machine in the company’s offering, the firm says the wagon has been designed to work in low buildings and tight yards. It features rear-wheel steering and has a maximum forward speed of up to 40 km/h. Four-wheel steer is an optional extra, and helps to reduce the turning circle. The front axle is hydraulically suspended. The wagon has a hydrostatic drive with two ranges (0-20km/h and up to 40km/h). Depending on the configuration, the machine is up to 2.77m wide, and 8.03m long.

The feeder features the Triotronic 7600T weighing computer with a touchscreen.

The Triotrac M can be fitted with a cross conveyor belt at the rear or discharge doors on both sides. The height of the cab can be adjusted. The joystick in the armrest is used to control the machine. Trioliet says all settings for loading, mixing and discharging the feed can be adjusted with the joystick. It features the Triotronic 7600T weighing computer with a touchscreen. The cab is also fitted with an air suspended seat.
