She belong to George Kelly of Hazel Fort Farm, Ballymalis, Co Kerry.

George believes Hazel to be the world’s oldest breeding Kerry cow. She has been on his farm for the past 20 years after being bought in as a calf.

Just over two weeks ago, Hazel gave birth to a heifer calf named “Hazelfort Girl”.

George has a great passion for the Kerry Cattle breed and is vice-chairman of the Kerry Cattle Society.

The Kerry Cattle is a rare breed of dairy cattle, native to Ireland. It is believed to be one of the oldest breeds in Europe.
