Wednesday saw heavy rain which made ground conditions very undesirable.
The washout on Wednesday left the Screggan venue in dire conditions. With many parts of the grounds flooded and some stands abandoned as early as 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon, the clean-up effort to get the ground in as good condition as possible lasted all night.
