Extraordinary footage taken on Wednesday by Lisa Ní Mhuineog in Co Westmeath shows farmers working together to help get a Lakeland Dairies milk lorry on the road.
Martin and William Carey from Ballinagore came to the aid of neighbour PJ Kane and the Lakeland Dairies lorry driver.
The milk lorry had collected milk from the Carey farm before moving on to Kane’s farm but on leaving there, ran into difficulties on the snow-covered incline.

The Careys hitched their New Holland ts135a and Massey 6290 to PJ Kane’s Massey 5516 and the combined grunt of all three was enough to get the lorry moving again.
