Farmers in the southeast are being charged €269/t, while those in the north midlands are getting theirs for €270/t.
Protein dairy feeds
This low dairy ration price follows trend with the 14% and 16% protein dairy feeds remaining considerably lower in the midlands than elsewhere in the country.
This area of the country makes up for the low dairy price with its calf ration, however, which is €350/t. This is significantly more than elsewhere in the country, with the north midland’s calf rations at €275/t to €280/t and the southeast at €294/t.
There are varying prices for beef rations around the country with north midland prices €13/t less than midland prices. In Munster, the beef ration prices vary a lot from €223/t to €263t in the south and €240 to €267/t in the southeast.
