There are currently dozens of tractors making their way into Dublin city centre this afternoon, in a protest against current beef prices. Gardaí are currently erecting barriers around Merrion Square and up to 20 tractors have arrived in the city centre.

The roads currently being shut off to the public include:
An Garda Síochana are anticipating an estimated 400 tractors to turn up to the protest. The gardaí also advise that traffic updates will be provided on the @gardatraffic Twitter account. As previously reorted by Irish Farmers Journal, It will be the third protest by individual farmers in the capital in less than two months.

The protest is expected to continue through the night and into Thursday morning.
