Henry McMahon, band leader with Big Tom and The Mainliners, will shortly release an album of songs he has composed over the years. The album will feature tracks by Big Tom and several others who have recorded his music, including some by Henry himself.

A Country Christmas concert, featuring Louise Morrissey, Crystal Swing and Gary Gamble, will be he held in Nenagh Arts Centre on Saturday, 7 December, and the Bru Boru, Cashel, on 8 December, with special guest Thomas Grogan. They will also present their show in Dooley's Hotel, Waterford, on Saturday, 28 December, and in the Briery Gap Theatre, Macroom, on Sunday, 29 December.

Fuel The Pub is a concert that should warm the hearts of patrons at The Pub in Carriganima, Co Cork, this Friday night, 15 November. Those who bring along a bag of turf or timber will get a free drink. Traditional and country music will be to the fore. Cork Music Station will broadcast the event live via the internet from 9.30pm.

Ireland West Music TV present a concert show in the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran on 18 November. The show features Mike Denver, Michael English, Margo O’Donnell, Robert Mizzell, Patrick Feeney, Johnny Brady and Jim Devine. It starts at 8pm.

Mary Prendergast has released a new single. A Mother’s Love So Pure was co-written with Liam Merriman and produced by Gerald O’Donoghue in Greenfield Studios. Mary was among the guests at the recent sell-out country concert show in Salthill.
