An exhibition entitled ‘Nights Candles are Burnt Out’ will take place on 25 October at the Hunt Museum in Limerick. Its purpose is to spark conversations and inspire action regarding climate change.

Visitors are brought through a series of installations followed by a journey over the last 100 years looking at pre-electrification Ireland, the electrical revolution, consumerism and then the tipping point.

The exhibition was co-created by companies involved in alternative energy supply and technology in collaboration with contemporary artists.

Jill Cousins, director at the Hunt Museum said: “This exhibition’s overarching message is one of optimism, emphasizing the importance of translating technological advancements into meaningful, real-world progress.”

Tickets are €12.50 for adults and tickets for children are free. For more information on museum opening hours visit: https://www.huntmuseum.com/visit/book-tickets/
