From the Tramlines is a really popular read in the Irish Farmers Journal every week.
The page features 12 tillage farmers and checks in with each approximately once a month to see what is happening on their farm.
It gives readers an insight into the running of tillage farms across the country.
Very importantly, these farmers share the good news stories of their crop yields, but also the less successful ventures on their farms, whether that be a crop that yielded poorly or had to be resown.
Ups and downs
The page shows the ups and downs of farming and because of this is read by all sectors and reaches the top read stories on the Irish Farmers Journal website on a regular basis.
We are looking for farmers across the country to take part in From the Tramlines in 2025.
If you are interested in sharing your story, let us know by emailing tillagenews@farmersjournal.ie or swalsh@farmersjournal.ie.
We will aim to get a spread of different farm sizes, crop rotations, tillage practices, regions in the country and ages of farmers taking part.
