The Northern Ireland Charolais Club held its annual autumn show and sale of bulls in Dugannon Farmers Mart, Co Tyrone, on Friday 3 November 2017.
Some 46 males and 18 females were forward for sale.
While fodder concerns were on the lips of many attending farmers, overall trade was fair with a clearance rate of 54% and top-quality animals sold very well.
The top-priced bull came from the herd of Caldwell McAskie, Mountjoy, Omagh, Co Tyrone.
This May 2016-born Mountjoy Morgan was +12 for calving ease, which put him in the top 5% of the Charolais breed for calving ease.
He is by Montgomery Lanto and out of a Gaer Positive dam.
Having been placed first in his class in the pre-sale show, he was eventually knocked down at £8,000.
Champion female
The Champion female came from the herd of Bartley Finnegan, Moy, Dungannon, Co Tyrone. Battleford Lola is by Lochend Apache and out of a Thrunton Socrates cow, Blelack USP.
She was knocked down at £8,000.
She was scanned in-calf to Blelack Immaculate and is due to calve on 1 May 2018.
