DEAR SIR: ICOS has seen a letter currently in circulation and dated ‘November 2013’ which is promoting a new livestock trading partnership under the auspices of ‘Emerald Green Exports’ and ‘Gore Transport International’, respectively. The circular is purportedly from one of the current directors of TLT International (in receivership).
The ICOS national marts committee is urging all co-operative marts to exercise extreme caution in dealing with any new livestock trading entity allegedly being promoted by a current director of TLT International Ltd (in receivership).
As of today, TLT International Ltd remains in receivership, still owing over €3 million to marts and almost €1 million to farmers directly.

Until there is a satisfactory resolution of the significant debt owed by TLT International Ltd to livestock marts and farmers, co-operative livestock marts must be circumspect about potential dealings with any trading entity where there is any level of involvement by a current director of TLT International Ltd.
