For the foreseeable future, COVID-19 restrictions have resulted in the postponement of machinery shows and events worldwide. To spread its message, Austrian machinery manufacturer Pöttinger is going to launch its new products via a virtual trade fair.

The firm has said all its new products for the 2020-2021 year will be launched directly to its customers’ and enthusiasts’ living rooms and offices. Pöttinger’s virtual trade fair is officially opening today, 18 November (www.poettinger.at/virtual-fair).

Pöttinger explained that agricultural trade fairs are always an excellent opportunity to present new products and company highlights to a wide audience. With a wealth of new products ready to launch, Pöttinger intends on using this modern communication tool to exhibit its products virtually on a digital platform.

How does it work?

Pöttinger say the overview of the machines is close to the real thing. Visitors can get precise information about machine details and watch videos.

The trade fair can be visited using a PC or mobile device without an admission ticket or registration. The firm say the platform will be updated regularly with new product details, information and interactive features, just like a real trade fair.
