Earlier this morning, AA Roadwatch warned motorists about some sheep that had broken out on to the hard shoulder on the M8 Cork/Dublin Road northbound between J14 Fermoy and J13 Mitchelstown south.
The traffic watchdogs told motorists to "take care".

However, the sheep were safely removed some time later:
