However, if you are unsure about something on the go, you can now check the main details of a product such as the ingredients, the maximum rate and the latest timing of application on your smart phone on the Irish Farmers Journal website or app.

The crop protection search engine is available on the Irish Farmers Journal website.

The application contains the details of almost 300 products which were included in the Crop Protection magazine in the Irish Farmers Journal in April.

It will also come in handy when filling out crop records, looking for correct product names and PCS numbers.

When searching for products, you can search by type, name, active ingredients found in the product and the crops which it can be applied to.

If you search by name, the search engine will show you that one product.

If you search by product type, active ingredients or crops, it will show you all products containing the product type, active ingredient or approved for use on the crop that you search for.
