A 21-year-old woman studying agriculutal science in UCD has died following a single-vehicle crash in Canada. The incident happened near the town of Maidstone in Saskatchewan province in central Canada.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reported that the woman was found dead at the scene and was the only person in the vehicle. Emergency services attended the incident at around 10.30am local time on Wednesday
University College Dublin have confirmed the woman's name to be Meaghan Miller from Malahide, Co Dublin. Meaghan was a third-year animal science student studying in the college.

In an email issued to all students, dean of agriculutre in UCD Alex Evans said: "Meaghan's death is a great sorrow for all in our school and the wider UCD community. We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to her family and friends."
Meaghan was in Canada completing work placement as part of her degree.
