Friday

Friday will be a warm and humid day with good sunshine for Ulster and Leinster. However, Met Éireann has said that it will be cloudier across Munster and Connacht.

There is the potential for a few thunderstorms to develop bringing heavy rain and the risk of surface flooding.

Top temperatures will range from 22°C to 27°C generally but it will be a few degrees cooler in southern coastal areas due to moderate southeasterly breezes.

There will be variable amounts of cloud around overnight on Friday with the risk of a few heavy showers. Met Éireann is warning these showers will possibly be thundery in nature. Minimum temperatures will range from 12°C to 16°C in light southerly breezes.

Saturday

There will be a mix of cloud and sunny spells on Saturday with a few showers, according to Met Éireann, with the odd thundery downpour possible in the east.

It will be another warm day with maximum temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C in moderate southerly breezes.

Saturday night is forecast to be a breezy night with clear spells and a few showers, these mainly affecting the west and northwest. Minimum temperatures are to range from 12°C to 15°C in fresh southwest winds.

Sunday

Current indications for Sundays suggest it will be a bright and breezy day with sunny spells and a few passing showers.

Maximum temperatures will vary between 17°C and 20°C in moderate to fresh westerly winds. Most areas are forecast to remain dry overnight but a few showers will affect the west and northwest. Minimum temperatures will range from 10°C to 13°C.
