Many U grade continentals are making from €1.95/kg to €2.05/kg, with prices over €2.10/kg being paid for top-quality cow and heifers.

Feeding continental cows are selling mainly from €1.60/kg to €1.80/kg, with old, thin and light cows making from €1.20/kg to €1.50/kg. Friesian cows are a solid trade also, with plenty of feeders active for all types.

The main supply for thin cows are making from €1.10/kg to €1.30/kg.

Where Jersey-crosses are on offer, prices of €0.80/kg to €0.90/kg are more common.

Good-quality British Friesian cows and those carrying flesh are selling from €1.40/kg to €1.60/kg in some areas.
