Kubota offers lighter walk-behind mower

Kubota dealers have launched the new W819R-PRO lawnmower which is their latest addition to the company’s professional walk-behind range. This lawnmower is equipped with the same engine as the W821, making the W819-PRO suited to landscaping professionals looking for a light, nimble and easy-to-operate walk-behind lawnmower.

The Kubota W819R-PRO is claimed to be comfortable to operate due to its ergonomic handle design and streamline shape, with a 19in cutting width. This makes it easier to trim areas around trees or other obstacles.

The Kubota W819R-PRO is available in a wheeled and rear roller model, this self-propelled walk-behind mower has a blade-brake system that stops the blade when not in motion. This feature allows the user to safely empty the 75-litre capacity grass bag without stopping the engine. Kubota (www.kubota.co.uk) claims that this feature allows for greater efficiency, reducing the number of stops.

VIking offers larger lawn option

The VIking MB650T is a 19in self-propelled petrol lawnmower suitable for large lawns up to 1000m². As standard, its high lift blade for efficient grass collection makes this VIking lawnmower suitable for Irish users as it claims to cut as well in wet conditions as in dry. The grass catcher box has a 75-litre capacity and can be 100% filled thanks to the design and air guides. The air vents face downwards so the grass and dust do not escape upwards.

This lawnmower comes with ready start, reducing the effort required for starting. There is also an automatic choke, that doesn’t require priming. Due to this, the company claims the machine starts at all temperatures. This machine has a high strength but lightweight die-cast aluminium housing, reinforced by a sheet metal insert and a metal guard strip. Find your local dealer by visiting www.stihl.ie
