DANCE the weekend away at the Lough Allen Dance Weekend running from 6 April to 8 April. Come along to the Lough Allen Hotel, located in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, for a jam-packed weekend consisting of dance workshops with some of the country’s most renowned dance teachers. There will be live music performed by Caitlín Nic Gabhann, Ciaran Ó Maonaigh and Jim McGrath, as well as music and dance sessions, including a modern Irish Step Dance workshop, feature concerts and ceilí. DISCOVER Populace, a visual art collaboration between transition-year students from Scariff Community College, Co Clare, art teacher Mary Rouine and artist-in-residence Tara Keegan. For this project, students were encouraged to share their own ideas and creative thinking processes, becoming makers and transformers in their environment, the results of which are now being showcased for you to marvel at. The exhibition, running until 14 April, will examine the environment through the transformation of material, recycled books and found objects. INDUGLE in the sweetness of chocolate at the Easter chocolate- making sessions taking place at the Chocolate Garden of Ireland, located in Tullow, Co Carlow. Running to 8 April, come along to these drop-in chocolate making sessions and create your very own chocolate Easter egg or chocolate bunny. IMMERSE yourself in the ACT for Meningitis annual sporting event, “Remembering Aoibhe Renville Challenge”. Put your best foot forward on 8 April and take part in this outdoor sporting occasion to honour her 10th anniversary. This is the fourth year that the race will take place and the line-up includes a 5km fully time-chipped run/walk at and an exciting 3km/16km/3km duathlon,
