Café Paridiso has a long-established reputation in Cork city. It's not just excellent meat-free cuisine, it's excellent cuisine full stop.

Now chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Denis Cotter is bringing his unique style of meat-free cuisine to a unique location for one night only, Overends Kitchen in Airfield Estate, Dublin.

On Friday 22 July, guests will enjoy a celebration of seasonal produce with a five-course tasting menu created by Denis in collaboration with the team at Overends Kitchen.

All courses will feature seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs grown on Airfield Estate’s 38-acre farm, selected by Denis along with head gardener at Airfield Colm O’Driscoll.

Specially curated

This specially curated dinner will kick off with a welcome cocktail at 7pm, with Denis presenting each course.

All dishes will highlight the flavours of the estate, while showcasing the versatility of vegetables and the intensity and complexity of flavour that Denis is known for.

Guests can choose to pre-book wine pairings with organic, biodynamic and natural wines chosen by the Overends Kitchen sommelier in partnership with Le Caveau.

Collaborations

The event marks the first in a series of monthly collaborations with visiting chefs at Overends Kitchen, with future participants set to be announced soon.

Denis Cotter is delighted to be the inaugural chef in this series of events.

"As a long-time admirer of Airfield Estate's work on vegetable research and production, as well as Overends Kitchen's sustainable ethos, I am excited to get this opportunity to collaborate with both Colm in the garden and the kitchen team at Overends Kitchen to produce a uniquely seasonal menu," he said.

Denis Cotter at Overends Kitchen takes place Friday 22 July at 7pm. Tickets cost €65 for five courses or add wine pairings for €100. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out quickly. Book now at www.airfield.ie.
